A multi-brand international beauty company — the umbrella to cosmetic ranges such as Hylamide, NIOD, The Chemistry Brand, The Ordinary, Fountain, Hair Is Fabric, WhiteRx and several more. They say: ” … All DECIEM products … are free of parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, benzalkonium chloride, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, oxybenzone”.
Told us they only use preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin all their preparations and not any of the isothiazolinones. From the Ego Pharma stable of skincare products — a company which declares its MI-free status explicitly. They are not a ‘natural’ skincare company — they use petroleum by-products, sulphates, parabens, and other ingredients frowned upon by organic skincare enthusiasts — but their products are simple, often suited to sensitive skins, and fragrance free. It won’t win awards for its natural qualities, but this affordable mainstream brand has a wide range of products, and avoid using what it describes as “harsh, artificial perfumes and colours” — as well as no MI. Widely available on the British high street.
